trance flow !

hey derrick..

Let`s listen too this... hmm yeah Nice deep Bass !!
Nice flowing fx soundings in the back...used some filtered slayer i think, sounds
good with it.
hmmm only the beat is missing a little more action..hihats i mean.. i would have used little more.

I like the middle part... fx sound into upcoming synthsizer.
Oh then this chorus soft sounding ! hmm it`s bit too soft.. i would have put this
more in front to give it more Kick ! because now the background is in front.
The way you compose is excelent don`t get me wrong man.. just the area`s
of the sound.

Hear at 5.10 thats just wright.. exactly the sound..

Now ur track! do I have to comment... doesn`t really need much to be said !
Only THing i can think off is Vocals ! mabey u don`t want too use them, or u can`t find any good ones to use, either way.

I have to say that the beat is good but the Synthesizer sounds a little cheap.
You used too much chorus and not defined the tune on a different synthesizer track.
Don`t get me wrong the attempt is good to make a trance track.. but it sounds just to easy.
My advice is..underline the main theme wtith some double layers to make it more rich sounding.
Fill up gaps in the song to make it more complete..But overall a good start.

Hey airprogessive..

This is the first time ive listened to your audio so im gonna listen carefully.
I have to say the beat is good not too much, and not too low.
Nice easy brought up synthesizer sound accordeon, wich keeps the track flowing.

A guitar string wich is best sounding with the Flute wich comes in later on !
This kind off trance is a relaxing kind in my point off view, wich doesn`t mean it
deserves an audience :D

Good work in changing the track, mabey a small vocal here and there would be nice.
But youre style has a good vibe to it .

Hey ...zoysa... !

Well i dont know exactly wich song/track u mean with bittersweet symphony.
Is that from Plasibo-bitter end ? ..hmm i don`t know.

I just review it as a track of youre own.

I have to say the start is a bit strange..many things at the same time.
You are trying to create this flowing area..When this beat comes in it`s off balance.
I think u should have made it sound different in the set up.
When the soft tunes comes in this distortion goes away.. this part is Good !

Then piano track is really nice..good mixture off high and low base sounds.
After that the track starts too change..wich in this case is nicely done.

My advice is: watch out when making a Synhtesizer flow area.. the timing is everything !!!

yeh i will work on the flow, it does sound a bit off in places but thats what i get for working with 90bpm and trying to make it sound fast lol! a new song that i made yesterday has a lot more flow than this lawl! so yeh ill upload that one shortly ;D

thanks for ur compliments bout the piano, i love it as well xD and the original song is by The Verve, maybe youtube search "The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony" and ull hear the similarities!

Strangly effective...

Hey zoysa...

U make real different music.. have not heard anything quite like it.
when i hear this it reminds me off game music.. some dark level art kind.
Starting from 2.00 min i think its starts Real nice..

This sounds just great...hmm i just think the Hihats whas a little too high sounded. But then this twirling sound come quite good together..
But i think it needs more Depth with some background Synthesizer too let
it sound more ..more..heavenly ; D

I don`t know why u choice not to use a drum in the end.

But overall a nice track , with some more work u can make your own style.

thanks for your great words about my music being different from others - i really am trying to create my own style and when people recognise that it makes me really happy ;DD if you want to check out another trance song in this style, check out Infinite Horizon. i'm also going to be uploading a new trance song i made soon, ill keep you posted on that one ;D

thank you for everything you said about it, yeh the hit-hats are a bit overpower to start with but i think they meld in nicely with everything after a while. about the background synth - yes i was thinking of that but i didn't want too much going on at once. i think with your songs you have so much depth in yours you're used to more synth to give it a larger-scale feeling but for this one i didn't want too much going on :)

hmmm i chose not to use drum in the end because in some songs i like to end with a melody and let that be the last thing people hear so they can appreciate the song for its melodies and not in drums (some songs i end with drums though) like infinite horizon ;)

thanks once again, i really appreciate this review ;DD *fingers crossed this makes i to top 5* :D

Look at the difference 1 vote total different score!
Well u should have put this in the Techno subs not Trance.
But anyway i want to try and comment...

Im not much off a techno fan but some things sound pretty cool..
The effect mixed with the deep bass and drum.. that`s what is needed for a techno track.
But i would say.. make this track again.. but this time with a longer build up.
You jump too fast from one sound too anothter..

I have not heard any off your work yet.. but from now on i will keep an eye out !
First off i have too say the sounds you use do sound good but the totall fulness is not what i think it should be.
My advice is put multiple layers at the start for example so the the sound feels more complete.
You have a good sound vibe.. but you don`t use all that you have...

But overall a good track..

wel i Haven`t heard youre work on newgrounds before but im glad i did.
You Have a very unique way of making these trance tracks..reminds a little off me sometimes.
I must Say the First buildup is classic..very good !
but lateron this main tunes..a saw comes up..i don`t know i like it but not for 100% but thats my opinion.

Then it builds off wich is nicely done..real smooth exchange off the track.
After that the track builds up and off again..abit too quick..those high short sounds are Really good..i think u should have used a Flute here instead wich would make it more orient.
But the overall sound is Very Rich..GOod work man.

If u have Time Please listen to some off my Work...

Later on when the saw comes up can you explain what you didn't like about it, you can add my msn if you want. When the buildup comes on later I do take pride in that :D. I don't think it builds off to quick though since its longer than any other melody in the song. For the flute, it would have added some more originality but I wanted this song to be mostly electronic. I'll go check out some of yours now :D!
